Cleaning
It is a firm condition of letting that guests leave the cottage in a clean condition, just as they would expect to find it. Cleaning materials are provided. The housekeeper will call after the letting to check the inventory, and change bed linen.
Food
We leave some tinned food and other comestibles (eg salt, pepper etc) in the cottage. If guests do find themselves forced to use it then they are asked to replace it, as we expect to find it there on our arrival.
Beach/Loch
At high tide the sea is within 20yds of the front door. Parents are warned that the loch deepens quickly and represents a potential hazard to children. No liability can be accepted for any accidents which occur. We leave boats at the property, but they are not available for use by guests.
Stairs
The cottage is a traditional Highland home and the stairs are steep. They must be treated with caution, especially by those with young children, and are unsuitable for the disabled. One double bedroom is, however, on the ground floor next to a bathroom. |
